CLT Chalet"My experience with MCH was excellent. I worked with the staff to plan a 20X27 foot timber frame cottage. From The initial planning stages, Ben, Karina and Scott work through various options that include site plans, environmental considerations and cost considerations and provide alternatives to correct concerns in any of these areas. They showed professionalism and patience in dealing with me during the planning changes as plans changed on numerous occasions. Once the plan was final they quickly got to work on the large timber used for this project. On site, assembly began as planned and they were finished and off the site faster than I could have imagined.

Timber Frame Kit"MCH built us a 3,000 square foot intergenerational home. It is unique and beautiful modern custom home focusing on efficiency and simplicity. A one of a kind timber- frame with rammed earth technology; it is an amazing home to live in. We felt we took a risk on a newer contractor/business and were thrilled with this skilled team’s results.
Despite a few challenges such as design and rammed earth itself Juniper describes the house in one simple word “healthy” - “there's no off-gassing, there's no glue, there's no chemicals, there's no mold, it's amazing”.
I don't know if I should announce this to the world but like we never lock our doors or anything it's so weird like this I think you should put that on actually but I feel really safe in this house. Like it's that root chakra, all my needs, my security needs, like basic needs are met. It definitely surprises me sometimes. I think there's something about the thickness of the walls like it's almost like there's a barrier between this like kind of familial home space and the outer world. We've lived on our farms for the past 17 years and we always kind of used to live in the centre of the farm like were it was really drafty and everything was like on the verge of coming in and we don’t feel that at all in this one. Safety. There is something about being here that I feel separated from the outside world. I don’t know if it's the thickness of the walls or the materials of earth and wood. I definitely feel extremely grounded and balanced when here."Juniper Farm
